Reaction to Peter Rabbit

I.Summary
 This story is famous fairy tale all over the world.Peter rabbit is a fictional  anthropomorphic character in various children's stories  by Beatrix Potter. This is about a little rabbit's happenings who didn't follow his mother's advise.

1.Genre
 The  genre of this story is fairy tale.There are many character in this story.　Peter rabbit is the work of children's literature.

2.Personification
 The rabbits in Potter's stories are personification  and wear human clothes:Peter wears a jacket and shoses. Peter, his mother, Mrs. Josephine Rabbit, as well as his sisters, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail live in a rabbit hole that has a human kitchen, human furniture, as well as a shop where Mrs. Rabbit sells various items. Peter's relatives are Cousin Benjamin Bunny and Benjamin's father Mr. Benjamin Bunny.

3.Character
 Peter rabbit has a lively personality and big eyes.

III.General opinion
 When I was younger age, I read this book. I like these picture and story. It is easy for me to read . I would like to read another series.

Reaction to The importnant things in life by Stephen

I.Summary
 The text I chose to summarize and react to is The important things in life by Stephen. A philosophy professor poured rocks into a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and students agreed the jar was full. This text a philosophy professor teach students about the important things in life and priorties.  He compares the rocks to your family, your partner, your health and ypur children, he comperes the pebbles to your job.

II.Reaction
1.Character
 Main characters are a philosophy professor and his students. A professor teach students about life. For examples, mayonnaise jar, rocks pebbles and sand.

2.Metaphor
 This text has five paragraph. Also, the philosophy professor compares the rocks to your family, your partner, your health and your children, he compares the pebbles to your job, your house and your car and he compares the sand to everything else, the small stuff in this story.

3.Theme
 This text has many imagery. The rocks means familly, partner, health and children.The pebbles means job, house and car. The sand means rest. Also, This story theme is that you should set your priorities and you should not mix the important things and the small things.

III.General opinion
 This text is easy for me to understand because uses a lots of imagery. I think that we often consider the small things of the big problem when we spend daily life, and ew can't see the real important things. After reading this text, Iwant to think about priorities. I should spend cherish everyday.

Lying together                               一葉ずつ

After their lonely whirling　　　　舞ひて大地に

Fallen leaves　　　　　　　　　　　　　積む落ち葉

I.Summary
 The type of poem that I choose to create was a haiku.
Why I decide to write this poem because Autumn is one of my favorite season in Japan.

II.Reaction
1.Imagery
I imaged Autumn season when I wrote this poem. Autumn season is comfortable for me.

2.Symbolism
 The poetry symbolizes a autumn by putting "fallen leaves".

3.Structure
 This poem defines 5 and 7 and 5 with a syllable.

III.General opinion
 It was difficult for me to make haiku. I would like to make another one.

I.Summary
 The short story I chose to summerize and react to is Live and Work.
Father worked very hard to provide his family with the best money could buy.This story seems to be a essay as the title, but it seems to mix happiness and tragrdy because the familu become richer than the past by the father's effore. He couldn't spend much time with their family. So he was going to devote more time with their family.But finally he gone.

2.Setting
 Father worked very hard for their family. But did the family really happy? He tried to spent with their family.The father worked hard and did not spend time with them.

This story consists of five paragraph.Also, it is easy for me to read about it.


4.General opinion
  After reading story, I was shocked by the end. Also, rest is important for human. This father was a nice person. He worked very hardfoe his family.
